Hi Ron,

Welcome to the forum! We've got several people either on or finishing up your same course of treatment and have done very well. Headache is a common initial side effect of Sovaldi and Ribavirin itself can offer it's own unique set of side effects. Search the forum and you'll locate a lot of discussions and things you can use for comparison. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and if you want, put a little information in your signature area describing your genotype and type of treatment. It helps us when replying to or commenting on your posts. Good luck, I look forward to following your progress!

I was nervous of the Pegasus and the coPegasus as the side effects i saw in people i knew outweighed the treatment.

I am on my treatment now using Sovaldi 400 milligram and Ribasphere 200 milligrams (400 morning 400 evening) I will try to post daily with side effects and what is going on with this treatment hoping it will help someone else on their journey.

Today has been good, only a little bit of a headache when taking the ribasphere in the morning and at night today. Not painful just a little throbbing only for about 1/2 hr after each dose. Other than that just a runny nose today and thats it so far.

This is to be a 12 week treatment as my Dr has said, I will be going for blood work in 2 weeks and then a check-up in 2 months, so time will tell!biggrin
