I appreciate all the responses and well wishes, folks.

Tig, I was indeed UND at EOT +17. Some of my ailments prior to tx came back and I got a little worried. This was definitely a relief.

Scruf, Duane, I felt I had been 'reborn' somewhat as I had no ailments until EOT-14. That was great while it lasted! Unfortunately, a few have come back,...but maybe in time they'll go away too. Anyway, next stop 24 -SVR I hope!

You guys are the best!

Being able to work in the yard all day is another good sign that you are SVR and your liver is recovering. I'm pooped just thinking about it!

Congratulations Jimbob,  just slightly in advance of what I am sure will be great news.

Please let us know as soon as you get the VL results.  Im waiting to give you that standing ovation you earned!!   :)

Hey JB,

When I saw the title of this thread, I assumed you meant you did indeed receive a EOT +17 undetectable VL. That would be an SVR.  Is that correct? Let us know for sure. Fingers are crossed! Good luck...

Looks like you got this in the bag Jim.  I felt the same way. Felt great at the end of treatment but at about eot+6-7 weeks  the euphoria from being done with treatment was gone. My bloods at 7 weeks came back good. My Doc said "see ya in 6 months". Working in the yard all day will poop you out thats normal. Being able to do that is great.

Hi James,

With those ALT/AST numbers, I predict you're home free! Wait for the VL, but I'd be very confident. Cheers mate.

Thanks guys.
I believe there is a real possibility everyone can achieve SVR. I think we are about to enter an exciting time in tx of HCV. I just hope everyone has the opportunity.

Me too. I like the statement Duane or somebody made the other day about we can all achieve SVR and then have a message board full of previously infected HCV survivors. I imagine it will be like a 24/7 positive post festival around here.

I'm pullin for your SVR24 too JB! smile

Howdy cyber friends. Just wanted to let you know. Dr. ordered EOT 24 but I just couldn't wait that long so I took Isiscat's advice and had my PCP do it last week. Got results today. ALT 18, AST 14, all numbers are normal. Got to feelin crappy EOT +14 and started to worry. Headaches returned. I had hoped they were a result of the virus, and they may be. Maybe it'll just take some more time. Going to bed early tonite. Worked in yard all day and I'm pooped. At least I can be outside now without igniting like a vampire!

Cant wait to start hearing the sucess stories of those who are waiting to treat or re-treat. Would love to see this thing eradicated for all, everywhere.
