Hi Michaele,

Glad the EUS went well. Post the biopsy report if you'd like an opinion.

Sounds like a pancreatic cyst. Cheers.

Hi Michaele, glad you're thru this.  Thanksgiving is approaching and it will give us time to wind down a bit and remember all we have to be thankful for.  Hoping and praying this works out for you timely.  You may wish to follow up with your Doc early next week.  A friendly reminder of how important this is to you never hurts.

Your time is coming.  smile    Be well

Hi Michaele,

Well it sounds like good news if the doctor believes the mass is benign, and also that you don`t have varices.  Malcolm (mallani) would be the best person to give you more information, and maybe he`ll pop in while he`s away on his vacation and make a comment when you`re able to post the full details.

In the meantime, well done, that`s another step forward!  Have a good rest now!  smile

Hi Michaele:

Get plenty of rest and fluids.  You are going through a rough time but remember that this too shall pass.  If all goes well, and there is no reason to believe it won't, you will soon be on the road to SVR.  Hang in there!  smile

Thanks for letting us know how your day went Michaele. I'm pleased that everything looked promising (benign)! They usually know from experience and we'll keep our fingers crossed that the report supports his impression.

I'm sure you're pooped out, days like this can really take it out of you. Get some rest and when you're ready to talk, we'll be here for you! Sleep tight....

Hi All, Had my biopsy 2 day. No varices, 2  reddened areas in stomache, some pancreatis , and the mass is 2.2 at longest part . It is irregular and full of some odd stuff. Necrotic fat and inflammarory cells. 3 passes taken. The DR. believs it is benign. He also did a stain to see if it could be TB. The report is long and extensive and Im just to tired to print it up. Now we have to wait a few days for pathology report. Thats about it and Im going to bed. And I  was told no Ansaids what so ever, by the way my platelets keep going up and down....... They had blood on hand just in case I decided to bleed. Thanks Michaele
