HI Darkstar,

I've had increased aches and muscle cramps since beginning Harvoni.  I'm using an OTC analgesic ointment for pain, rather than a pill. Drinking more water definitely helps. The worst of my SEs were in the first few weeks, although I did have leg cramps again last night.

Definitely keep notes of your experiences and share them with your DR.

I just picked up my 3rd bottle and for the first time it included 'Patient Education Leaflets' which list the main 5 SEs and advises: "This is not a complete list of the possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your DR or pharmacist". I was able to find more detailed information on the side effects of Sovaldi/sofosbuvir on the web (which is in Harvoni). Unfortunately, there is very little information on ledipasvir's SEs, specifically.

Hope this passes quickly for you.

So, do you recommend taking it at night, Mugsy?  Glad to hear that things are so far so good!

Hey there Darkstar. I am 61 and on day 4. I have  noticed a little achiness in my neck and headachey, too but I wonder if I am 'looking' for symptoms. I definitely need to remember to drink more water. I have slept much better the last couple nights but that could just be the relief of finally being on treatment. Maybe try a short walk to loosen up the joints?

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Mary

At age 63 it is often hard to know what is age related vs drug related.  I have developed muscle and joint aches and pains that I do not consider "typical" for me.  Has anyone else had this with Harvoni?
