Hey Lon, Depends on your pharmacy but they will call you after they get the approval. In my case, they shipped two days later. No matter how much they tell you the co-pay is, the Harvoni site offers a coupon that is easily applied for online and your copay will then be just $5. Give the pharmacy the numbers from the coupon and it will be applied. You can do it now and have it done for when they call.

Hi Lon, congrats on getting the approval.  You probably should be able to get started within two weeks, depending upon what your doc and the specialty pharmacy does.  Could be within the week.  Meds are often shipped overnight UPS or FedEx.  Gilead has a copay assistance program.  Call the Harvoni support path.  My copay is 5.00 with their assistance.  Good luck.

Hello,

I was approved yesterday for 8 weeks of Harvoni.  I was checking today to see if there was co-pay and to get an idea on when the medicine would be arriving.  Unfortunately all I was able to get was a morning full of vague, rehearsed answers from everybody.

For those currently taking Harvoni, 1.) how much was your co-pay and 2.) how long did it take to receive the first shipment from the time your GI told you that you were approved?

Thank you in advance.

Lon biggrin
