Geno 1b, IL28B CT,  x3 prior relapser,  ex-cirrhotic, 75 yo, did 48 weeks with Victrelis/Peg./Riba.  VL 1.28m at start, UNDET. at 8 ,12 ,16 ,24 ,30  and 48 weeks.  EOT 15 Feb 2013 , UNDET. at EOT + 28 weeks. SVR!  Still Undet. at EOT +5 years

Hi Bill,

As far as I know the best drug for fibrosis reversal is interferon. So, even Harvoni doesn't help in this process. But if you are not cirrhotic there's a chance to do at least F2 when the virus is eradicated. Never F0 and same chances for F1. This verdict comes from my doctor. I had the same question.

My diagnosis came back F3 Bridging Fibrosis.  What is the telling me about the condition of my liver and are there chances of reversal of the damage if the HCV is eradicated?
