Hello Rob

That is some very good new to read about your story of getting Harvoni. Things will get better after the first couple of weeks on the therapy.

Hey Rob,

Good to see you and hear the good news on treatment! I'm sorry to hear that you had some other GI problems that laid you out. I hope you're feeling better, but know bowel issues can be particularly uncomfortable.

It's nice to see you have a doctor that cares and seems involved. I wish all of them and the insurance carriers shared his concern and optimism. It has been sadly lacking for many here. I do appreciate your tip on seeking approval and assistance. That's vital for all affected, thank you!

Keep us informed of your progress. This is your time to succeed! Good luck...

I was to start Harvoni last week, but I had some sort of bowel issue and I was in hospital  for 6 days.

My Dr  did all the tests again. I do have some mild fibrosis.  My viral count is still 25 million so the Dr said it is time to treat. I will have the meds  Tuesday.

I am grateful to evil Pharma Corporation for  picking up the complete cost. They processed everything very quickly.

My Dr said they are now pretty much treating everyone at all levels of disease , and that Gilead has pretty much approved  it if there was any question of ability to pay.

Another thing he said was the major medical, or community health systems have been  giving the funds to treat those who need it. For people who are having issues to get to meds, look for outpatient clinics at these major Health systems in your town.  It is a good way to get to the treatment and meds.
