Hi Mena,

Thanks for the update, and it's great that Angelo is Undetected. Once he gets rid of the present HCC's, it's hoped he goes on to SVR, and doesn't grow any more. Best wishes.

Hi Mena,

I'm so glad that Angelo is responding well to treatment! He deserves this after the reaction he had last time. Congrats on the UND! I wish he didn't have to go through the rest of it, but your report is very encouraging. I'll be thinking about you both tomorrow, let us know how he does. Prayers are on the way!

Hello again Mena,

I`m very glad the mapping procedure went so well for Angelo and that the tumours should be easy to treat. 

You must both be very relieved that he is responding so well to the Harvoni treatment, and belated congrats on his 8 weeks UND result! 

Wishing you both all the very best of luck at Mt Sinai hospital tomorrow, and please let us know it goes.

Hello everyone.  Just wanted to give you a quick update on what has been happening to my husband Angelo.   After several MRI  HCC was proven. 3 tumors were found,  5cm, 1.5  cm 2cm.

the whole team of doctors decided that the best course of action would be to do  RADIOEMBOLIZATION.

On feb. 12 they did a mapping by insering a little pin head catherer through his wrist arthery.

Everything went well and if I understood correctly they saw that all 3 tumors are fed from the same source.  this should make it easy to target all 3 at the same time.

His Harvoni seems to be working, his last blood work ar 8wks. showed UND!

His platelets went from 62 to 84.

Please keep him in your prayers tomorrow!
