Hi SC,

Those values are excellent! My opinion on your viral load? It appears to me to say you're undetected. It says it's below the quantifiable level of 15 and is Normal, not abnormal or <15 and detected. It says <15 NORMAL! You will forever carry the antibodies, so their mention means little. I would confirm that before doing back flips but in any case, that is a beautiful thing indeed! Congratulations!!!

This is great news and I'm so happy for you! Keep us informed and good luck...

Tig

PS: Eat some bananas, they will help your potassium level!

My first set of labs (4 week) were Monday. Got the results this morning. I'm going with "these look awesome"! Love that (Normal) beside the Hep C result. And this is the first time in 7 years that ALT/AST/Glucose have been within range. biggrin

I'm assuming the note on the Hep C result is saying there were antibodies but they were below the quantifiable limit of the test and to determine if they're current or resolved, there's a different test that could be done. (Too early to dig out my Steadman's and translate before I go to work.)

*The dynamic range of this assay is 15 - 100,000,000 IU/mL. RNA is extracted from HCV using the Roche Ampliprep instrument. RT-PCR and detection are performed simultaneously for both the HCV RNA and HCV quantitation standard (QS) on the Roche COBAS TaqMan 48 Analyzer using the FDA approved Roche COBAS Ampliprep/ COBAS TaqMan HCV Test reagents.

Following CDC recommendations, positive Hep C Antibody Screens are refluxed to the HCVQN assay for confirmation. For samples testing positive for the Hep C Antibody and negative by HCVQN, the patient's clinical history should be taken into consideration. To differentiate past, resolved HCV infection from biologic false positivity for HCV antibody, testing with another HCV antibody assay can be considered. Please contact the Molecular Pathology Laboratory for further confirmatory testing.
