I would recomend a good gym that has a steam room. Supplements won't help you yet. Your just slowing your liver function. Exercise, water, and take time to smell the Daffodils !  Congrats on making it.

RC,

That shall pass in time. Doesn't seem like it but it will. You've been through a lot and it took us all a while to feel normal. I've never been called normal, so I guess I'm back to my old self! Ha! Hang in there...

 Brighter days ahead!

Yes Liam, thats right. If they were to give you the results soon after treatment those that did not clear the virus might not return for any follow-up test. The drug co. need all the follow up results to base there results on.  I knew this but had forgoten it .     My mind is not the same as it was before sol/riba. I blame it on the riba not the sol     RC

Hi Liam,

It took me every bit of 6+ months to get the Riba cleared and like RC, I had issues following that. I agree that nothing is going to flush it out faster. I buries itself into every nook and cranny and hangs on. Just take care of yourself, eat well, exercise and recover. It will all happen soon enough. I guarantee that you'll notice a big difference far earlier than the 6 month period. Good luck and congratulations!!!

Liam,

Good to see you nearing the end. Forget the detox and supplements, and let your body recover. Good luck mate.

Thanks RC,

The trial nurse told me it is Gileads new policy for those on a  trial not to receive results until after 12 weeks. Good Luck with it all this time around mate!!

cheers

Liam

First off, let me tell you that RIBA will take its sweet time to vacate your body. I havent heard of anything that speeds up the proses. I was told 3 to 6 months to wash out the riba.  Its been 10 months since my last riba pill and im still not over it. 4 weeks post results are good indicators if UND.   Its too bad they will make you wait the extra two months to get the results? Bummer, but if it we me i would bang on there drum untill the give in and get the results early.   Im looking forward to your results, Best of all to you   RC

Hi all

I have 7 days to go on Riba/Sol its been a long 23 weeks but manageable. After i take that last pill I am thinking of going on a detox and start taking various supplements again to build up my immune and speed the clearing of these drugs from my body. Is it better to let the riba. linger around for as long as possible post treatment or if it hasn't done its job by now leaving it in my system longer is not going to make any difference?

Just wondering what members thoughts are on this, my body feels so toxic I just want to flush this poison out as quickly as possible.

I have my bloods done 4 weeks post treatment but will not be told the results until after the 12 weeks, is this normal procedure?

Thank you all for your support on this forum, I would not have got this far without your kindness, wisdom and knowledge.I am so grateful for all your support, I seem to be getting very teary this week;)

cheers

Liam
