Hi Lon,

How wonderful to read such a positive update and I`m really pleased for you!

I must say I had a very similar experience and was amazed at the difference in my energy levels and general health once I`d recovered from the tx side effects.  I`d been asking doctors for years whether the Hep C infection was to blame for my constant and debilitating severe fatigue but I was repeatedly told that they didn`t think it was.  If I`d known how much better I was going to feel once the virus was gone I wouldn`t have delayed my tx for so long!

Thanks for sharing this excellent news!

Enjoy every moment of your new found energy, you have a lot of time to make up!!  smile

Hey Lon,

Thats the kind of report we like to see! I'm happy to hear that your strength and vitality have been renewed post treatment. It goes a long way to show others that good things happen once SVR is achieved.

It's vital that our healthcare providers hear the things you mentioned. There is much yet to learn about this disease and the impact of it, both pre and post treatment.

I wish you continued good health and the best of everything in your new Hep C free life!

Hello,

I finished Harvoni about 3 weeks ago.  I wanted to comment on how much energy I have now.  I used to take multiple naps everyday, now I go straight through a 16 hour day without needing to stop.

Before there was a treatment, doctors used to tell me that Hep C was silent and didn't have an immediate impact.  They used to tell me that I would have it until I died and I would most likely die of some other ailment.

From my experience, the doctors were wrong.  The Hep C was very active and the effects of the virus were very noticeable.  It wasn't until I got rid of the virus that I finally realized how pronounced the disease was.  Now I feel like a new person and about 15 years younger.  I have interests again other than sleeping. :)

Best Regards,

Lon
