Well, got the call from the pharmacy today. And spoke to my hepologists nurse.

My viral load is just over 6,000,000. My platelets are 82 and ALTs are 43. And he put the claim through on both my insurance plans while,I was on the phone with him, and it seems I'm covered 100%. I asked him the cost to just know for myself, and he said he can only put one week through for payment at a time, and the cost for one week was over $6000. So a 24 week treatment will be $144,000. That just about makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it. This has better work for that much money.

Couple questions...

Does 6,000,000 seem like a high viral load To start with? What were some of the rest of you at?

Does the platelet count go up during treatment?  Mine went down with the incevik and never came back up. Any others have that result from incevik or the other one?

My ALTs are not too high. Can I take that as a good sign or does it really matter much?

Getting nervous now. How am I ever going to make it so long without knowing of it worked. All that money!!!!
