Hi Steve

I was on the older tx and I had a heck of a time focusing. I was really anemic all through TX so you know I was fatigued. I practiced Tai Chi. I payed very little attention to the applications of the forms and just cleared my mind and went through the movements. (a little me time) It help my energy and focus. I see your into MA give it a shot.

Best wishes.

Hi Steven - just wondering if you are asking about focusing mentally, or literally - with eyesight?  I was diagnosed with a neurologic eye condition that affects focusing (superior oblique myokymia) which appeared about 10 years after I contracted HCV, and it is worse lately.  I don't know if it's related to HCV but I've always wondered if anyone else with HCV has it.

If you're asking about mental focus, I had a short episode during treatment of being very unfocused, but it passed within a few minutes.  Otherwise my mental focus improved during and after treatment with Harvoni. HCV can affect us mentally, and while on treatment your body is going through a lot of changes -- it's likely that mental focus and energy will improve after treatment.  Wishing you the best!

- Tess

Hi Steven, I was just talking to a friend about focusing.  Kinda strange, but the first week that I was on Harvoni I was real focused, even a little euphoric, slept very well. Last week, my second week, my focus is shot.  I feel focused, and then I realize that I am not accomplishing a thing, because I can't focus long enough to finish the task that I started.  At the time it is all fine and good. Not till later, that I realize how distracted I was or am.  Have actually been laughing about it and just figure its the Harvoni, as normally this is not as pronounced a problem.  Sleeping the last week, besides the one night waking my husband singing, has been an experience close to a hot dog on a spit.  I roll from one side and keep a perpetual roll going all night, not on purpose, just turns out that way.  Keep sharing, great site here, all on the train, and it does get better.  Already is better, just keeps getting more interesting. coolheat

Hi guys. I'm kinda new to this great group and have up to this point received some great feedback regarding harvoni treatment related fatigue. I have 9 more days to go of treatment and was wondering if anyone has had any trouble with focusing. For a while even before treatment I feel like it's hard to focus sometimes.. Its a little frustrating. I was wondering if anyone else experiencing this? Is this normal? I'm hoping when treatment is over my energy will come back and I will have clarity and focus again.. Any help with this would be appreciated.. I really hope this is temporary and normal and not all in my head..thanks
