So Happy for you Bills !!!   26 days left to go on Harvoni here. Doc says he won't do another blood test for 6 months. Bummed.   Must be a hold over for immediate gratification. Not working out at all. Will be happy to wait. Sipping tea here and looking out the window of the train.

Felt kinda like going through a keyhole rabbit hole holy portal. Just received last bottle of Harvoni. The house isn't looking so cluttered now, blessing to have the tx and not owe anyone for the co-pay. Feeling much better this week than last week. Still carrying about 8-10 weight gained since started tx. Also will start paying better attention to what I eat and pain on right side. Other people have mentioned pain that reminded them of like liver type pain. Me too. Maybe spare tire putting pressure on ribs. More resigned than ever to be more quiet and ride with flow last month and let it be. Nothing else matters anymore. No high horse, no get ahold of, its done for now and feel only grateful and accepting. Still glad you are all here, welcome newbies, keep coming back, it all falls into place. Its all energy. Still love the music. Wed. night nxt wk. Todd Rundgren, haven't heard him since the 80's, but liked his song Healing. CoCo Montoya in Tahoe nxt wk. also. Charlie Musselwhite in a month. West coast cooks.

Hi, feeling a little run down on the down hill run.  Last week, I laid pretty low. Week before I worked out 3 days, and was feeling much better. That wk I worked my quads and did some aerobic type activities.  Wkend before the one we just had, I was really sore, not just my quads, but all over.  What I realized was that I was not moving the lactic acid out of my muscles the way it should. It took until Tues or Wed. before puffiness and bloat left.  Also since about last Thurs. I have been experiencing insomnia. First time.  Wake up feeling like I didn't sleep. Now, am sluggish and not as energized as I was, mentally flat lining. Not working out my BP is creeping back up where it is marginal. Good News: we managed to pull the last months worth of co-pay together ourselves, so will reorder last tx bottle tomorrow.  Start last mo. worth next Mon..  Are the symtoms that I am having part of the drug?  I have had some light nose bleeds and if I scratch myself, it bleeds longer and clots like a pile of dry blood that is dark red to black. My platelet level before tx was 86.  Have gained 8 lbs and eat more because of increased apatite.  I'm rambling, sorry, my Dr. sure doesn't want to hear it. Feel better telling ya'll, Sitting quietly, kinda sad today, in my train car seat looking out the window.

Hi Marsha,

It does look like an arc strike, but it's actually a sparkler!

I like your positive message and belief that there are powers in play that are bigger than we are. It's up to us to carry the message of hope and do whatever we can to support those seeking a brighter day and healthier way of life. A supporting shoulder, an understanding word and the willingness to do whatever we can to help blaze the trail and clear the tracks. Everyone here has benefitted from those Warriors and friends that battled before us. Now it's our turn to carry the torch. Perhaps the Star of Bethlehem (Christmas Star in July) was meant to help us light the way....

Happy Independence Day to you too!

Tig, is that new avatar a flash from your torch? Thank appreciate the thumbs up. I do feel a lot in AAH. Very Grateful, very humbled. Quite small to the big picture. Looks like it is going to take us to build a firm bridge for the ones behind us to securely and confidently walk across from one ailing world to another beginning world. No one should give up, too many things materializing so fast for so many for healing. If one doesn't work, try another, and another. Stars are also in amazing positions right now. Day before full moon, Jupiter and Venus were in a configuration last seen 2000 yrs. ago. Some astrologists believe it was the configuration that was seen as the Bethlehem star. Thanks again, Marsha                       Happy Fourth of July !!! Love the firework design

Jill, I never would have guessed a rose. It reminds me of a blossom from a tree we have here called Dogwood. Winter is never considered over until it snows on the dogwood. It was in the later part of May this year. Course now we are 100 + degrees. It also reminded me of an orchid. This was our adopted cat. At the local pet rescue they said no one wanted her because she was a psycho kitty. She came home with us that day, and they even paid and waved all fees if we would take her. She was with our sons and us and was a wonderful if anything psychic cat, not psycho. She is in a marked place in our back yard now, with many others, as this old house has been in the family for over 100 yrs.. By the way, it is the deductible's that I am paying for, not the whole full Monty. Thanks again, Marsha

Well thank goodness you`re managing to get the finances together to carry on with your treatment, Marsha.  It`s dreadful that you`re having to do this but making sure you have your supply of pills has to be your priority at the moment, that makes good sense.  Especially as you`re responding so well!

Yes, my flowers are from my garden, it`s a rose called `Golden Wings`, one of my favourites.  It`s the season for roses over here and I have quite a few different varieties in flower at the moment, I love them.  You`re right about the rain, we certainly get plenty of that, although we`re having some lovely sunny summer days just now.

Keep us posted on your progress..good luck!  smile

Love your feline companion, what a handsome cat!

Thanks everyone for the wellwishes.  We were lent $ to pay for the deductible of my second mo's. worth. Need to get $ together for the last mo. deductable. I decided to not try to make all the calls and get ahold of beaurocrates, etc. right now.  I was getting lots of mail back, they say they're all professional's, (movie Traffic) but don't have immediate answers right now.  Sound familiar? Pointed me in many directions, but no answers. I have to do what is in front of me right now. I have stuff I can sell and raise the money.  Can't do it all, not enough energy yet. I will still call and find out what I can for anyone else and maybe some breaks for us. Used to be a mover and shaker before I started getting so sick from the hep c.. I am confident that will return, that is my energy, so I can do and be me more.  Love those flowers Jill, did you grow them? Y'all get rain over your way. Thanks again for your concerns, we're good now and I will raise the next deductible. Cannot depend on seeing that I get assistance like right away. Too scarry to sit and wait. The Train keeps a mov'in, and I Don't want to get stuck at the wrong station going nowhere. Marsha

Hey Marsha,

Woot!!! Congratulations on your first (of many) undetected viral load test. You're responding perfectly to treatment and expect the news will continue to get better from here. Keeping committed and compliant is all it takes! You've proven that you have what it takes to see it through. Good luck!

It's been almost 5th wk that I have been on Harvoni. Last week, during my 4th wk, I had blood draw. Results today were VL was undetectable.biggrin  Have the phone calls on the back burner, and liquidating what ever I can grab in the house I think will sell.smile Thanks everyone here for your support and advice. Trying to spread the news to those who need help, like us, that might not be aware of what is taking place with all the new TX for hep c. Blessed be.               CH    Happy!!!!
