Hi Jaded,

Your direct (conjugated) bilirubin is just above the normal range. This has been well documented with Harvoni.

Read the Prescribing Information (section 6.1):

http://www.gilead.com/~/media/Files/pdfs/medicines/liver-disease/harvoni/harvoni_pi.pdf

Don't worry about it.

Yes i see that now...thanks for pointing it out. I feel better about that now.

Hi Jaded,

Great numbers! Don't worry about the RBC or Hb- you may have been a bit dry.

Also, the ALT is the most important. An AST of 38 means nothing.

Carry on! Cheers.

Thanks for responding mallani...I was hoping you'd weigh in. If you wouldn't mind...what does my Conjugated Bilirum at 8 mean and what would cause it to go up a bit over my last test?

My RBC has gone up a touch as well as my Hemoglobin.

My platelet count has now come into a low normal from 95 before start of treatment..it was 135 4 weeks ago.

My Conjugated Bilirum has gone up from 6 (normal) to 8 since my 4 week test...I'm not sure why or what this means.

My AST remains a bit above normal at 38 (normal is 35) and although this is better than pre-treatment at 70...won't come down.

Can anyone explain to me me why my Conjugated Bilirum has gone up?

I'm also now wonder about the effects of exercise on my AST/ALT...I lift weights 3 times a week at a high enough level to feel reasonable muscle ache the next day and I realize that this is know to cause an increase in AST/ALT levels.

(disregard the duplicated Chemistry portion...I messed up creating this image)
