Thanks, Bubble.  I see the nephrologist on the 31st.  I think my urine is less frothy, indicating less protein in it.  We'll see.

I got that darn sun/heat rash one winter I went to Miami for a week (long before treatment). Now I get them every time I stay too long in the sun. Hope it doesn't happen to you every time now, it's annoying... Lol. Keeps me in line for sun times though, I keep a good eye on the sun times and use tons of sun block. Had the RIBA rash. That was bumps and itchy.

Interestingly, mangos are part of the cashew family. So if you have a nut sensitivity, you may have a mango sensitivity.  I learned this from someone who's allergic to mangos.

Thanks. I am usually not sensitive to sunlight at all. It was a first. On to SVR !

This is a normal reaction of the sensitive skin. It happens almost every summer to all of my blonde friends! Especially girls. I know exactly what you are referring to and the way you describe they reacted and went away is the same thing.

My take is this:

Your skin is not usually this sensitive, but Ribavirin made it more sensitive (turned you into a redhead-skin type, hah) so now you've got to experience the horror a lot of blonde and redheaded people go through each year.

Don't sweat it. As long as it doesn't appear while not in the sun.

Sure sounds similar to a Riba rash to me. You probably got out in the sun too early imo following the use of Ribavirin. I had sun sensitivity for a full year after EOT. Sunscreen helped after 6 months, not before, yet I still noticed issues until 1 year afterwards. I had trouble with blistering on my head, it was awful. I learned to always wear a T shirt, hat and glasses until it corrected. I've seen people develop a sensitivity to Mangos too, if they eat too many of them over a short period of time. 

Hopefully you had a great time and it was worth the discomfort! Be cautious for 6 months to a year. One day you'll realize that it's not a problem anymore, but it really takes patience. Good luck buddy!

Hi Everyone, wife and I just returned from our Mexico trip and I have been off Vikera Pac for a month. While down there I got red tiny blisters on top of my tan. Started along both my biceps and worked it's way across upper chest area. They seem like blisters. They have subsided now and have dried up. They were itchy but I just put aloe on them. The thing is, I have been down Mexico way for years and have used the same sunscreen over and over so I am puzzled? Never had this problem ever. Stayed strictly on a fish diet and ate alot of mango's, nothing new. Anyone have this symptom or is this something else? Why am I hearing the "Monster Mash" as I type this? LOl.
