Yes Dickey,  you`re right about that, testing your viral load at this point would just be for reassurance.  It`s the 12 wk post tx one that`s the most important.

Yes mam. Actually my doctor said she would not do any testing after 8 weeks prior to completing the 12 weeks because if it was clear then Insurance could reject paying the last script. However she never told me how long to wait Post treatment. I could request testing now If I wanted to however I would require testing again at 12 week post. Other than peace of mind I have no reason to test any earlier is what I am thinking.

Well done, Dickey, that`s great to hear!

Yes you`re right, 12 weeks post tx is now the critical point, and if you`re undetected by then it`s considered to be SVR.

I remember you told us at the beginning of your Harvoni treatment that your doctor wasn`t going to do any labs until 12 weeks post EOT, which is a long time to wait!

Your chances of success are very high, best of luck!  smile

I just finished taking my last pill of a 12 week treatment. I have had zero dr visits during the whole treatment. When should I return for post blood work? I read where I believe its 12 weeks before diagnosed as cured?

Thanks,

Dickey
