The AASLD and IDSA HCV Guidance Panel has released updated guidelines for the treatment of hepatitis C virus infection, according to newly published data in Hepatology. You will note that they continue to recommend the use of 12 weeks of Sovaldi/Peg Interferon/Ribavirin in GT 3's that are able to tolerate it and 24 weeks of Sovaldi/Ribavirin for those that aren't. Quite a decision to be made there...
