It depends on your genotype. Here's a link to the Ribavirin dosing information:

You should know that the dose given depends on individual circumstances. Weight, age and blood values impact dosages oftentimes. Trust your doctor to know, but should you have any questions, it's always good to verify.

HI,  I wondered if anyone can tell me what the normal dosage is for ribavirin per day?  I know my Dr. goes by weight.  Yet I am in some other groups where many people who weigh more than I do are taking much less than I am and with the same gentotype.  I do not have cirrhosis either.  Could anyone explain why that would be??  I start treatment on 9/8 with Sovaldi/Riba.  Thanks!
