Hi Michaele,

Great to hear you're 7 months post. Don't worry about platelets of 132k- thanks fine.

I understand about coming down from the 'high' of SVR. You're getting older and vision is probably related to that. My vision has gone off and I've even started using a yellow golf ball!

The cirrhotic liver does shrink over time and that's probably why it's not palpable. Don't worry about it as it's obviously working well. All the best.

Hi Michaele.

I'm glad you're doing good other than tired sometimes, which may not have anything to do with your previous Tx, but if so, you can still see improvements beyond 7 mo post EOT. My platelets are 81 as of 8-6-15 labs (up from previous 66) and I'm doing fine. I just stay attentive around sharp objects. biggrin At 132 you should be fine. Happy SVRing! smile

I understand what you mean, Michael, when you talk about getting over the initial high, but I think you`ll find that you appreciate your SRV, and the implications of that, more and more as time goes on.

I expect you`ll find that your energy will continue to improve as well in the months to come.

Do keep us updated, we`ll be glad to hear how you`re progressing.  smile

(I`m doing well, thanks!)

Hi Cinnamon ,  I'm not worried about platelets, I'm secretly blaming all the garlic I use.  I'm still tired at times, and have noticed how my vision has declined since Tx. Other than that not much has changed. I did come down from the high of getting Tx and responding well. Hope your feeling fit .  Michaele

Hi Michaele, good to hear from you.

You must be very pleased about your results, sounds like you`re doing very well.  Platelets do sometimes fluctuate and as Matt said, they are not far below normal range.  I wouldn`t worry too much about that.

How are you feeling now, at 7 months post EOT?

Hi all, just got results, everything is WNL , except the Platelets at 132, which isn't bad . Dr. said he didn't think my liver was cirrhotic because of the fibrosure results a few months back, Said he couldn't ever feel my liver. Well Woots me. Then why the low platelets? Love and best wishes all around , keep praying, I will .
