I haven't any knowledge of a direct relationship between HCV and the symptoms you're describing. My Grandmother used to tell me all the time that recurring muscle twitching was due to low calcium and/or magnesium. Seems there are others that agree that mineral deficiencies might play a role. I believe dehydration will cause more cramping than twitching, but determining that should be easy using the concentration of your urine as a guide. Maintain your H2O intake at a level that keeps your urine a pale yellow.

I have had some crazy muscle twitching in my triceps recently.  It is driving me nuts.  I am not on treatment yet but am experiencing many symptoms.   Has anyone experienced this?  I read online that muscle twitches are common sign of dehydration so I drank some cranberry juice and ate a bunch of greens and carrots.  I will see if this will stop them.

It feels like a pulse in my arm.  It will go on for a while then stop.  Then start back up.  I did a search on it on this site and didn't see many responses.  Just curious if others have had this and what they do to stop it.  Mine seems to happen more when I am tired.  Which is no fun because how do you sleep when you have a constant twitch?
