Hi Ashley,

Welcome to the forum! I’d like to tell you this section is for instruction on how to start a new thread. If you would, please start a new thread in the New Members section, tell us a little about yourself and any pertinent information. Since you have already started treatment, you could simply start a new thread in the On Treatment section. Decisions, decisions! wink

That said, you shouldn’t have much in the way of problems. Nausea doesnt happen much with these new medications. Most side effects can be avoided simply be insuring a 3-4 liter intake of water, everyday!

Talk to you in the other section. People can respond to your questions and welcome you there!

Good old reminder.  Also, if you are just investigating, be sure to check the date on the post.  The treatments available today are very different than those of just a few years ago, so ask or be sure you are getting info that fits.  If you know about old treatments, you will be surprised how much better and tolerable now.  Check it out.

Welcome to our forum! Sometimes we have newcomers to the forum who have questions about Hepatitis C but who are not familiar with posting on this type of forum. There are many different formats for message forums and other social media venues online these days so for anyone who is new here and wishes to introduce themselves but are not familiar with this format please follow these steps:

(1) Click on 'New Members Area' which is the 1st section listed in the 'Home Page' section menu, circled in Purple in the image below.

(Note: There are 3 more images below this one with further directions)

(3) Enter thread title in the 'Subject' space circled in Red. This can be as simple as "New member here" or "Hi Everybody. I'm new" etc.

(4) Enter your message in the message body space circled in Green. Tell us little about yourself such as when you were diagnosed with Hepatitis C? What is your plan for treatment? What has your doctor told you? Your genotype if you know already? Have you ever been treated for Hep C before? Any questions you may have about anything related to Hep C? Etc. etc.

(5) Be sure the box is checked that reads "Email me whenever there is a new post to this topic" circled in Blue.

(6) To post your new thread click on the "Submit Post" button circled in Black.
