We had a member, 'Rockyfeller', who was on a Trial of Sovaldi/Peg/ Riba for 12 weeks through the VA.

He relapsed after treatment, but was then offered 12 weeks of Harvoni and achieved SVR.

Here's a link to his initial post:

Hi Eric,

Welcome to the forum. I'm a Vet and was never offered the opportunity to participate in a trial through them. I remember one member that did not too long ago but he was overseas and didn't keep us updated. There are others that were treated through them though. If you haven't seen this website provided by the VA on trial participation, you might find some additional information there. (Below)

Please let us know a little more about yourself if you would like. We have several friendly and knowledgeable members that will be along to say hi. There may be other Vets with more suggestions and experience as well. Good luck!

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone participated in a clinical trial at a VA hospital, OR was referred to a clinical trial from a VA hospital.  I am particularly interested to know if anyone had experiences with experiments at a VA hospital.

Thanks!
