After hours of digging through abstracts from "The Journal of Hepatology Vol 60 issue 1 supplement", I believe that it is an extract of magnolia called Honokiol. I do not know this for sure. They did not want to come off the name of the herb which was very obviously suspicious. However, I think this is it. This is big news to anyone paying attention. An abstract from the 2014 Liver Congress that met in the UK stated that this "Chinese herb" extract inhibited the virus by 90 percent! Please do your own research and reach out to me. They kept calling it "Chinese herb" bt would not name the "herb" in question. It was very difficult to get the name. It required several hours that still produced nothing, then by blessing I stumbled across a 2012 study that was basically the same and named the extract: Honokiol extracted from magnolia bark. 20 bucks or so a bottle. Whole lot cheaper than the 80 to 100,000 thousand for a bottle of harvoni that will save our life!....hmmm Maybe that is why they wouldn't mention name of "Chinese herb"....I am being facetious here. Please Please let me know what your research turns up and share this info! Godbless!

Hey Josh,

Welcome to the forum. We had another Josh that asked about this some time ago. You can use our search function at the top center and enter the key phrase "SBEL" without uotes and you'll see the discussion we had. If memory serves me, it's one of those supplements that has a lot of interest. Always discuss supplementation with your doctor first! Good luck...
