Hi Steve - I stressed about taking my tablets for most of the 24 weeks I was on them. You are not alone in having worries.

I used a pill box like the others have mentioned, the small outlay was well worth the reduction in stress.

You sound like you are responsible with a good attitude to taking care of yourself - just keep on truck'n down the line

 Hi Steve.

I just wanted to make sure you have a pill box like what Tig mentioned. It helps to remember if you have / have not taken your dose of medicine for that day / time of day. I take several meds 3 times a day so it's a must for me but it can be useful even if all you take is 1 pill per day. Hang in there, you're doing just fine. smile

Hi Steve,

Relax buddy, you're fine, no harm done. If any RAV's are going to develop, they aren't a problem at this stage of treatment. You do need to establish a schedule and stick to it. Use an alarm on your phone, pill box, whatever it takes and follow it. Try to take it at the same time or within a one hour window. You can do it! But don't obsess over the early errors, you haven't done any harm, promise!

I am a bit worried about the way I have been taking my Harvoni pills after reading about RAVS.

I haven't missed any doses,  I took my 1st pill in the evening around 5:30 PM(Nurse wanted me take the first pill it in front of here).
I realized this time would not work for me so I took the 2nd pill at 9:00 AM the next day but it was only 15.5 hours later not realizing this was two close together(I guess there is supposed to be at least an 18 hour window between pills).   Obviously I did not overdose, but I am worried about the initial doses being close together and the possible effect on the virus afterwords going from more of the harvoni in my system initially to less taking it at 9:00 am every day.

Also, there has been a couple of times on the weekend I took the pill a couple of hours later(slept later-probably twice).

I was reading about relapses and started freaking out,  I have some OCD issues as well so worry is part of my makeup unfortunately.

I have been spot on about dosing times since then though.

Kind of freaking out I guess I should have been more aware of this, any experience with this or insight would be appreciated.

Thanks...
