Hi Lori,

One thing my Doc said to pay particular attention to is Iron ...

... I don't know if the flavor packets contain Iron but it's something to be aware of.

... as already mentioned, just take one of the packets in to your Doc when you go see them.

Dave

I think you'll be fine, just let the doc know. Those are very common ingredients in all multi vitamins. It's a good habit to check the label on everything now. You never know what they're trying to slip in there! On a side note, I just read an article that one of the stores I buy block parmesan cheese, puts freaking wood pulp in it as a filler!!! Yikes..... No wonder I've been feeling like Paul Bunyan, geez!

It says vitamin C, E, B6, B12, and Niacin, 65mg sodium wow! 0 carbs sugars and fat.
I will definitely mention them to my Dr tomorrow. She asked if I was taking any vitamins or herbs and such which I said no to because I don't, I didn't realize I was adding them to my water. I didn't really pay attention to ingredients until Tx.

As long as the vitamins aren't something outside of the scope of a multi vitamin, you should be fine. The drinks that contain various supplements, like echinachea, or any of the other myriad supplements, are the ones to avoid. You should mention everything you're taking, including your vitamin regimen to your doctor. They need to know. I took a good multi vitamin throughout treatment with my doctors blessing.

I've been using Gatoraid Propel kiwi strawberry water flavoring in my bottled water. It's single serve packets. I just realized today that the packet says in small writing "water beverage mix with vitamins". Anyone know if these are safe to use with treatment?

I've used these for a few years and just now realizing it's full of vitamins..geez lol
