CURED ! !!! And state of amazement !!  Congratulations!   It is truly amazing that we have been blessed with these new treatments in our lifetime.  After looking in the mirror for 40 years and seeing the dragon and now it's gone is amazing.   It' s been over a year for me and I still look in the mirror and still cannot believe it's truly gone.   Thank God  !  Enjoy your journey with SVR.  The amazement will never end.     Chris

Getting through 3 months of tx with riba in the mix isn`t exactly a walk in the park for anyone, and I`m very pleased you`ve achieved your SVR!!

Contracted Hep C 1969. Genome Type 2, treatment naive. Began 12 week RIBA/sof/Dac on 12/11/15. Cirrhosis. VL before treatment 4m. Treatment extended another 12 weeks without Riba. No virus detected at 9 weeks.

Excellent, excellent, excellent!!! When it rains, it pours, and it's raining lots of joy today. And it makes me even happier when somebody around here kills their dragon using ribavirin, since that always makes the battle tougher. Congrats are in order for you GH so kick them shoes off and join the SVR PARTY.

To all of YOU that oversee and participate in this Forum,

I want to share my joy with all of you. Today, I heard the word, "CURED" when speaking to my doctor. Yes, I have achieved SVR12 using Sovaldi and Ribavirin for my Genotype 2 HCV. I am still in a state of amazement, the news is still sinking in. 

To all of you that have achieved SVR and to all of you that will get there soon, I thank you for being in this Forum. You have all helped me a lot.
