 If Malcolm is right I'd bug him for paracentesis to drain the ascites fluid. The pain relief will be instant. smile

EDIT: Do you currently take Lactulose to reduce cirrhosis induced hepatic encephalopathy? It can be a major cause of gas / bloating.

Make sure the bloating is due to gas, not ascites. Cheers.

I have been hep c free for 6 months now - I have cirrhosis and it seems like my bloating is worse - stomach gets HUGE!  Any suggestions for bloating?  Any medications I can bug my doctor about?

Undetected at week 2 on solvaldi/rib/interferon:  stayed through week 12 but virus came back as soon as I stopped.  on   Harvoni and ribravirin 24 weeks undetected after two. 8/2/15  12 week EOT  UNDETECTED!  SVR
