Dave,

Come on, fess up... The only reason you want to check on this is because you want a cookie! I'll approve a Cookie Dough Smoothie, but that's it! HYDRATE!

wink

Hi SF,

I'm not sure but I think that the feature depends on a cookie.

So if you clean your cache you probably loose that cookie.

I have this happen whenever I go to my banking website, if I clean my cache (and I do regularly) I have to go though additional routine when I go to the site.

You may be able to delete all but that cookie but that can be a bit of a pain too.

I don't use the feature you speak of but I will experiment sometime to see if it's a cookie thing.

Dave

Hi SF,

I'm not sure why you're having the problem. I can mark all as read and they stay gone. It could be the way you have your browser set up. Perhaps there is someone that can provide some additional thoughts on it??? I don't use that as a guide because I check in so frequently and rely on the Chatbox notifications to direct me to new posts. There is also a new post register on your profile homepage that lists the last 5 recently active topics. Sorry I can't provide a better solution.

I have noticed that when I leave the forum and I click on the mark all as read because they have been or were older, that many come back highlighted as if there was a new comment and in fact there was not.

I do clear my cache regularly to avoid any of those types of problems

Has anybody else noticed this?
