Hello Mike, so pleased for you that your treatment is going well and also that you are driven to provide and assist others in the ways you do.

Mike, how fantastic that the support group you started in your local area is taking off so well, I`m really pleased to hear that.  Well done!

Sounds like you`re staying on top of your nutrition and hydration, and you`re on track with your tx...you have good reason to be feeling very optimistic!  smile

Great news Mike,

I am glad you are feeling better. I have not noticed any improvement with energy or anything actually just starting week 9 today but we are all different.  You are well on your way so lets keep looking at that prize in the near future.

Good to hear Mike!

Your positive outlook on life, especially added to better nutrition and great exercise will REALLY help make the Tx go smoothly and I have no doubt that it will also help in making it Extremely effective.

Thanks Tig, Canuck, wmjl1906, Jill, and JimmyK,

Yes I am pretty excited for sure. I am staying real hydrated, constantly drinking water and warm tea with a splash of coconut nectar. My weight today is 208, down about 2 pounds since I started treatment. I am cutting the sweets out, even though I really crave it at bedtime. Sure is nice to have all your support. My local Hep C Support group here in Bakersfield California is starting to take off now. We have 10 members now and rising. I shared with my local group this forum's website and how much help it has been for me and my growth. Thanks everybody:)

Great job Mike, keep up the good work.

Remember the hydration aspect of the treatment plan. That of course is also an aspect of any sort of exercise program so you have to be even more careful not to dehydrate.

Regards

JimmyK

Excellent progress, Mike, you`re obviously responding very well!  Other people too have reported feeling more energy within the first few weeks of starting Harvoni, it must feel so good!  As Mike, (wmlj1960) said, do take it a bit easy though, don`t go and overdo it with the exercise, save some of that extra energy for fighting the virus!  smile

Keep going.. you`re doing great!

(by the way, Mike, you posted in the `Off Topic` section so I`ve moved this thread here to the `On Treatment` area.)

It's great to hear that you are doing so good Mike. Keep up the good work but don't over do it. And remember... Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

It IS a great thrill to see that ALT come down, isn't it!! SO nice you are already "feeling" a difference. Energy is one thing, but what a bonus to feel keener concentration!! Good news and a good day for you to celebrate! smile C.

Thanks for the update, Mike. Sounds very positive to me and the increase in energy is a great plus! Seeing your ALT cut in half and everything else within normal limits is a great response to treatment. You should be thrilled! Keep it up!

So far so good. Went in today for lab work. Alt level came down significantly, dropping from 264 to 117, that was real good news to hear.  All other results within normal range. No issues or side effects that I can complain about.  Today I noticed I just had too much darn energy. It is like I am chock full of vitamins or something. I feel much stronger.  I am also swimming longer times and distances. Today was 30 minutes when normally I stop at 25 minutes. Seems my concentration is keener also. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers please as I keep all of you in mine.
