Heck, just Sovaldi alone @ $1000 per pill was $336k for me over 2-24 week treatments plus all the other stuff including my also outrageously expensive HIV meds. Yep, pretty good deal for being able to continue living IMO. smile

Between my two trials and ragdolls trial I figure there's about 300K in just drugs. then add all the MRI's and liver biopsy,all the blood work,her ultra sound,4-5 fibroscans  between the two of us and you might approach 325K.  Not a bad deal in my book.   RC

I know, Lisa, it's nuts.  The last time I had 20,000 Euro's worth of pills on me I was very nervous indeed.  In fact, I was in Amsterdam too at the time, but enough of my past life.

Note to any online Police: this is a joke.

Congrats on having your Rx safely at home, soon to be slaying a Dragon ... smile

I too was quite amused at swallowing over $1000 per day.

After all the waiting you've done to get here, I would imagine taking that first pill will take a lot of weight off your shoulders ...

All good news ... I look forward to hearing when you get started on the meds.

$1,200 down the hatch today, $15,000 to go. I see that I could have purchased the 12-wk Tx WO insurance online for $32K (and, in retrospect, would have). I'm less nervous after 70 pills than I was when I felt like I should have transported that first bottle home in a Brinks truck! Good for you, Lisa!

I remember the day I went for my first day on dosing, walked out of the hospital with 30,000.00 of pills.  I wouldn't let them out of my sight. It's nice to see your just about ready to start the fight. You will do well!!  RC

I picked up my prescription yesterday. I have 20 thousand euros sitting in the cupboard, that kind of feels crazy! :D

I am still starting on the 21st as I have guests arriving in a few days, but wow, its going to be the most expensive thing I've ever swallowed. I don't know why but it kind of amuses me, now I know how the rich live lol! ;)

Anyway, the end of hep is near!!! :D
