Welcome Mary,

Glad you found us as this is the best place for information. It's wonderful that you have no problems getting covered for treatment.

There will be many others as already mentioned to come by and say hello.

Please keep us informed as how you are doing.

Cheers

SF

Hi Mary,

Again, Welcome, great to have you here.

Your post is fine and in the right place, perfect! As you will notice, we each put some Hep C information in our signature line so others know more about us when replying to a post.

Here's a link on how to set that up if you like and there is also a link there to abbreviations used on this site ---- >  Signature Line Set Up/Abbreviations.

In general it's helpful to put your Genotype, Stage of Fibrosis, Start Of Treatment, Length of treatment, HCV Medications.

This all helps keep folks from asking you the same questions over and over and helps you receive more accurate information from us.

Thanks,

Linux

Hi Mary,

I'd like to welcome you to the forum too! We have a nice group of caring people here and they'll be long shortly to say hello.

I'm glad the VA has been able to help provide the treatment. You'll be done with it in no time. If you have any additional information on the selected treatment, your genotype, fibrosis stage, etc., please let us know. You can add it to your signature line so it's available to us when replying.

If you need any assistance navigating the forum, let us know.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Well, basically to sum my life up briefly. Got married at 18 to a soldier (that was 21). He got "alerted" on our honeymoon (about two hours after getting hotel) and the next time I seen him was 14 months later. He got out of military in Sep 02. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma the following month. He went back in the military that December and after 8 tours to OIF & OEF he got out in 2013. We have now been married 15 years this October. We have two kiddos and last month found out I have hep C......and now another one of life's battles to fight.

That's the brief summary

im 34 years old smd live in the south eastern US

again, thank you for the welcome. Im lucky enough to be getting treated through VA (financially lucky). I hope I am posting this in the right area. Don't believe I've ever been on a forum before.
