Hi Onward and Upward,

congrats on your results. I too sourced my first 12 weeks of Sof/dak/RIBA from India as it wasnt available in Australis for less that $120,000 Au.

its a pretty good feeling isn't it? maybe I missed a post with your blood results on it - the viral load is so exciting but it's also good to know how healthy your liver is and how much improvement it's been making since the continuous blast of Hep C on it was stopped.

So happy for you.

Syd

Pablo,

Hey! For a change, I understood you perfectly! hee hee wheee

Well ... maybe, had you used a few exclamation points (!) that might have helped me ... (you should see what my hand-written notes look like)! I restrain myself from using bold here!  LOL pablo, you can always make me laugh.

So nice it is we are getting all this really good news feedback from all our new DAA-folk recipients! So much to learn from each other. smile C.

You've gotta love Canuck.  She's so inquisitive (curious) and contributive (helpful); she even puts explanations of convoluted (complicated) words in parentheses (brackets) by way of explanation for us less erudite (knowleagable) folk.

Soz...couldn't help the cross-reference jest...but Canuck will discern my connotation ;)

Onwardsandupwards - congrats and good on you for having the get up and go to source from India.

Onward upward,

Hey, I'll say - great news!

Very glad to hear back from you.

Very interesting to see your VL's and nice you had them so frequently drawn, so as to be able to track all these fluctuations - very interesting indeed.

I recall, from prior, how you proactively got yourself to HCV treatment, but logistically how do you work it out as far as being followed for both your HIV and HCV as your HCV script came from out of country. Did you say prior that your home HIV doc is also following you for the duration of the HCV treatment (for both)? Do you have to make special arrangements then (for HCV labs) to get your HCV PCR's done? Just curious how you worked it out.

Do you think any of your HIV drugs had an effect on your prior fluctuating C VL's? Was it you who also had an HIV drug change/adjustment done? - I can't remember. Prior you were trying to deduce when your HCV started.

You mentioned one AST, did you have any other ALT's to follow all along?

Very glad to hear from you with your news.

Wow, 4 weeks and you'll be done! smile C.

That's great news, Jay! Congrats on the undetectable viral load! That's a wonderful thing isn't it? These new drugs are the real deal and I look forward to continued good reports. I hope you're feeling well, how is that going? Don't forget to keep on top of that hydration requirement on these DAA's, it's vital.

Stay compliant, hydrate and keep up the battle, you're almost there, WOOT! I can guarantee you that there are some very good days ahead! I'm happy for you Brother smile
