That's fantastic, Tom!  I love this news.

Funny, I got my labs back around midnight, just hours before leaving at dawn for a long awaited boat trip down the Grand Canyon. It was a trip I planned on the advice of my doctor, as a celebration.  The news provided some extra lift-off alright! It was also a chance to truly separate myself from the HCV legacy. It was the first time I forgot what I had been through over the winter.

You beat it, Tom!  You won!  Enjoy the magic and many adventures to come.

Cheddy

Congratulations, Tom! You did it Brother, I'm thrilled to hear the good news. That must've been a tense moment on the phone. I remember that same call and recall the feeling of light headedness. I was so happy to hear those words, you're SVR, enjoy that Hep free life! I think I said something brilliant like, "wow, are you sure?". It's a great moment, enjoy it!

I got my blood drawn on Monday Sept 19, 84 days post Harvoni. On the runway, awaiting takeoff to Managua on Thursday, Sept 22, I got the call from my doctor. SVR. Hepatitis C is no longer part of my life. Thanks for the support, amigos. Harvoni is easy magic.
