I'm with you Howard. and I'm plenty happy for yousmile.

I just want to add my comeback success, for the sake of hope.  I still pull myself up by the bootstraps sometimes, but I understand it much better.  I'm doing lots of the things I've wanted to do for a long time.  For example, I had a blast this weekend when I made a rapid decision to deliver a friend's horse to Montana from Washington (truck and trailer).  It was the right thing at the right time, and I had the where with all to help out and have fun doing it.

We work better without a virus pulling us down.  For some people, the treatment and/or the liver damage causes them to take longer to come back. Self care is always a necessity.  That's the importance of early detection and proper treatment.  Let's all keep that going.

Congrats and keep up the good work.

Cheddy

I've had these symptoms for about 3 years. I'm not 100% yet but I can tell a difference.

Hi there, Howard... what amazing progress you`re making already!

Yes I would say it is fairly common for people to gain a new lease on life once they`ve cleared the virus, and quite often we see people saying that they didn`t quite realise how badly Hep C was affecting their energy levels and general feeling of well being until they started feeing a lot better.   And this applies especially to those of us who had endured many years, or even decades, of struggling with poor health, constant fatigue and brain fog.

Getting onto this Abbvie trial has certainly turned your life around and it`s only going to get better from here on... congratulations on such a successful outcome!

I`m very pleased for you, thanks for your very encouraging post!

The fatigue & brain fog were the worst part of HVC for me. I was a active person  until  the monster took my drive away. I'm proud to say I'm getting it back. I'm still not as strong as before but I am finishing the projects I'm working on at a steady pace. My brain fog seems to be gone. I finished 4 remodeling projects on my place this week. I let them go during treatment. I hope this is a common thing post treatment. It's really made my outlook on life better.
