I never got a daily container for myself, but instead would use a spreadsheet checklist similar to yours and a reminder on my phone. Haven't missed a dose yet, but a few times couldn't remember if I had taken one, so I had to resort to counting to make sure I did. What I've been doing lately is keeping two bottles. The first one contains dosage for just a week while the second contains the remaining pills. That way I can easily get a weekly count to make sure I'm on track.

I have  to think of Loopy who lost one into the toiletbowl abyss and stared at it for a while trying to figure out what to do, or Syd who managed to throw some riba down some Alice in Wonderland rabbit-hole floor-vent and never figured it out until she was down to her last doses, or dear Gracie who vividly dreamed she had indeed forgotten to take a dose and had to race up in the middle of the night to check what was real, or not, and found it was only a nightmare, she said she had to had to check and re-check several times a day at times!! At times, so did I! Many of us have just "plain forgotten", some shorter, some longer - I did too one day, with the dose sitting right in front of me in plain view!! But my fog "oversight" was not long enough that I could not get it in the same day. We are merely humans, are we not. Perfection, what a thing to strive for! You will reach nirvana regardless of this one dose - leave it up to your doc whether you will add one more day to the end - likely not, I would guess.  C.

You'll be fine, just don't do it again! I would advise your doc at your next appointment, but missing a single dose happens and we have had others do the same without any repercussions. Just like all protocols before this, it's the continual exposure (perfusion) through all tissues that kills the beast and keeps it that way. The blood levels should remain constant for this to happen. The blood levels exceed 24 hours, so you won't be left unexposed. That doesn't mean it's okay to occasionally miss a dose by choice!

If you don't have a medicine container, I recommend one. You should also set an alarm, along with your spreadsheet and medicine container, to assure compliance. It's amazing how easy it is to forget, even with a safeguard or two.
