Just wonderful Tiger. I AGREE!! You ARE a new man! You have done such a good job all throughout this long treatment period, including handling the riba and juggling work and home, your girls and yourself, not to mention long ago quitting drinking and getting yourself to good treatment! You have done a super job. You went UND early at week 4 and those (prior) high lab values have responded just beautifully.

Such a good response! How dramatic all your drops in GGT, AFP and Bili's have been - all your labs are very good news.

Keep taking VERY goood care of number one - keep babying yourself as best you can, don't push it toooo hard. Remember, you have just left riba land, and, you have just started your recovery from a very nasty viral infection - so, be kind to yourself a wee while longer please.

If I am figuring it right, this is your EOT+12 weeks UND after 24 weeks of treatment! At least I think that's right.

I think you were due for, or had an ultrasound, did the doc say anything looked better on the imaging? And, I think you were going to go for another fibroscan at some point. I will really enjoy hearing that your U/S looks good, and (when you get another ficroscan) perhaps we can celebrate again if your kPa hardness has already started to decrease a bit, and if that fatty content is any less! Ah, freed from riba and the viral beast!

Yes, I am sure, you have lots to look forward to! I'm happy for you. biggrin C.

Congratulations, Dave!! That's wonderful news, woohoo!! It's quite a glorious feeling when you get that final result. The week preceding the test used to cause me a bit of anxiety, but it was always for nothing, thankfully.

Enjoy your new life, free of Hep C! You did it!!
