Hey Sanuk,

SO glad to hear from you again, complete with good news too (of course, I expected nothing less)!

I am also SO glad you are finished! Contrary to how you may still be feeling, you did very well!! Going UND early at 4 weeks, and now this UND (which I am guesing is actually your EOT UND)?

BIG accomplishment to get this virus conquered and out of the way.

Get to feeling better, keep treating yourself as well as you can, do not slack off on the water (I did post-tretament and found that to be an early mistake).

I do hope being off the epclusa now will help you get started to feeling some better. Give it some time.

I know you have further pressing health matters on your mind, but takes things as slowly as you dare and they advise. When is your next set of post-HCV treatment bloods and VL?? - at EOT+12 weeks?

I'm glad your current liver tests all show good.

How anemic were you prior to HCV drugs?, as compared to now? Are they advising anything to do about it?? This too, can be a REAL "drag". Maybe inquire about this, if your anemia has not been well discussed.

Your "scans", in few weeks, are chest CATS, for the oncologist, right? (you didn't mean liver/abd. scans)?

Use this "lull" to nurse yourself as best and as tenderly you can. Try to re-coup/ regain some ground.

I am so glad you have had such a quick and stellar result to the epclusa, this HCV part will soon just be "history", freeing you to better deal with the rest.

Please do keep posting, and let us know how everything feeling and is going, and what the next plans are.

Good job, you did it strong lady!  Congrats! smilesmilebiggrin C.

Hi Jen,

That's wonderful! That's a good indication of what the next one will be, too. Enjoy each and every victory you achieve along the way. You have earned the joy!

Keep us informed. Continue to eat right and hydrate. You're in the recovery phase now. Just keep moving forward and good things will follow...

Hi there friends,

I'm EOT +2 weeks and just found out that I am UNDETECTED!!!! And all other liver tests are within the normal range.  I'm still anemic and my LD and platelet levels are still high, but I'm beginning to feel better.  I'm not nearly as tired or as weak as I was a few weeks ago.  I still have significant inflammation in my knees back and shoulders, and I'm still in pain, but not being fatigued and weak helps.

My cancer doc and I are waiting until my next round of scans in a few weeks to make a next plan, but I'm really hoping that the inflammation has gone down enough for me not to have to have steroids or some kind of biologic to deal with it.  This may just be wishful thinking but is sure makes other decisions easier to manage.

So that's all the news here!  Thanks for your help and encouragement!

Jen
