WOOHOO! That's what I like to read!

The next five weeks will go by in a flash. You're doing everything right and the viral load will prove that, so keep it up. I'm sure you'll be encouraged by the coming tests. It's always a joy to see that viral load crash to zero!

Hello and greetings one and all!!

Just checking in real quick to say 3 weeks down and 5 more to go. I have called and refilled my prescription today and it will be here on Wednesday. Next Monday July 18 will be my 4 week labs....excited to see the results. No side effects that I can mention, in fact i don't think I have any at all. Have dull headaches but I have always had those, just a nuisance not enough to even take something for it. Still drinking plenty of water. Hope all are well and staying safe and remember water, water, water!!

Good work, TL! One down, that sounds good, doesn't it? They'll go by quick, just do your part, drink lots of water and take the next couple of months (less) and treat your body like a temple! You'll feel much better for it. Plenty of rest, too!

First week done, seven (7) to go. Woohoo. In answer to your questions Canuck, all is well in my home, my head, and my heart. Celexa is still at work and sleeping is hit or miss, but that is nothing new. All the new anxiety has been at bay for a while now. The other little helper pills have been asleep in the nightstand drawer. Never did have an ultrasound but will ask in 5 weeks when I see the GI doc. Excited to be done with treatment because I will be celebrating with a visit to my daughter and a solar eclipse all at the same time. Thanks for all of y'alls kind words and encouragement. :)

So, good TL, all seems to be going swimmingly now! No sides detected, and soon, you will have no VL to be detected either! smile Really good, that you have only 8 weeks of harvoni to do, it will go all the faster for you! Generally, you went through some pretty tough times and stress getting to treatment and waiting for treatment, how does that all feel now? Are you feeling much more relieved now? Have you continued to make use of the celexa they offered you? Are you sleeping OK now? You had such a good result from your fibroscan, did he ever offer you an abdominal ultrasound? Keep us posted. Good you are drinking lots! biggrin C.

Hey, Hi SF! Been missing you round here! smile

Hey TL,

Congrats on starting treatment! It's an exciting time for Hep C Warriors. They're getting these new drugs down to an art. It's a big plus not having to deal with side effects, too. Be sure to stay hydrated. That's a must!

Are you having blood work done at week 4? They often do. Usually a liver profile, CBC and a viral load. Each doctor has different testing protocols. Be sure to get copies of everything when you do.

Keep up the good work!

I thought I had changed it. Maybe it didn't save. Will certainly look and see and change. I will say I started treatment on Tuesday June 20 and happily report no sides so far. :)

WooHoo! That's great when you get the word, just don't let the whole thing overwhelm the senses, lol! It's your time, be excited, but don't let anxiety take away any of the joy. We've seen so much success on these new treatments, I'm confident that you'll be virus free in a matter of weeks.

I'm happy to hear you were able to take advantage of the coupon offer. That coupon has helped thousands receive affordable medication. I'm glad it's been made available.

Stay in touch and we'll ride the Harvoni Train with you!! smile

Howdy folks!

Wednesday, 14th June was my celebrated half century mark!! Woohoo!!, I even won a prize at work that day. But the best prize came a day late when I got a call and was told I have been approved for HARVONI treatment at the whopping cost of a 5$ copay (due to coupon). Shipment should be here on Monday with a start of treatment date of Tuesday 20th of June for 8 weeks. Excited and apprehensive all rolled up into one.

Hopefully with the GALLON of WATER yall all push around here it will go smooth. Will be letting yall know!!

Thanks for all yalls support up til now.

TL
