Significant A1C reduction after SVR

Yeah, man!  The experience that goes with knowing you have HCV is intense from the get-go. So many ghostly symptoms are explained by it.  It's easy, then, to wonder if everything isn't cause by it.   Not.  

For me, one really good side effect is the wake up call (shout, scream). I got better at listening to myself, and taking better care of my own good health (causing my own good health).  So, I am tickled when I hear such things as "A1C reduction after SVR.

GT2a, VL 681,500, Less than F1, Treatment Naive

12 wks Sovaldi/Ribavirin, SOT 2/25/16, EOT 5/17/16

UND at 2,4,8 and 12 wks during treatment but ribavirin crazy.

ALT/AST normal EOT

SVR12 8/13/2016!!!!!!!!!  I WON!!

EOT 6 Months 11/12/2016  CURED

This is very good news for those of us keeping an eye on our blood glucose levels! SVR brings improvements in areas we might not realize. It takes time to see some of these changes, but knowing it happens, is good news for all!
