 Hello all,

Ive managed to contact my nurse direct today--- cant believe,  my results are now undetected smile am so pleased. 15 months post tx.

My nurse told me it must have been a false positive previously because the machines are so sensitive.

I am a bit sceptical tho. has anyone had any knowledge of this before?

Take care all you good folks

Wow, it`s great to hear your good news at long last Lesley, many congratulations!!!   smile w00t.gif biggrin

It must be such a relief to know that the previous result was a false positive, but you really shouldn`t have had to wait so long to find out. It`s hard enough waiting 6 months post tx, but 15 months is just dreadful.

I guess it could well have been been due to the sensitivity of the machines, or simply laboratory error, but I don`t suppose you`ll ever know.  confuse

So pleased for you that the wait is over, you can relax now knowing you are virus free!  Yay! nod.gif

Big hugs, Jill xx
