You may remember me saying I had conned the Dr. into raising my RIBA to 800 and that I might be secretly raising that to 1000. Well, it's beginning to show at the gym, in the stairwells in my skin color. But still feeling OK all around. Just very aware of the reduced energy levels and lack of stamina. I have labs on Monday the 9th so I guess we'll see. This RIBA reduction topic is a crazy one. I hope when we all meet for our tenth reunion that we don't get any surprises. Alan

Hey Mark & Phil
My RBC has been holding around 9.6 ish for a few weeks--it's not going down once they added the Procrit. WBC seems to be fine and so far they have not reduced the Riba. I was getting a little energy boost but that seems to have leveled out. Think it was more related to my over the top thyroid coming down. I am operating in a much lower gear but still chugging along. Hope you get to feeling better

They reduced my riba from 1000 to 600 on Friday. My hemoglobin had fallen to 9.9, 9.8, and 9.6 in 3 consequetive weeks. I had a relatively energetic weekend, but don't know if that's from the reduction, just my turn for as good weekend, or the reduced stress that they were finally taking some action instead of letting it tank. Both my WBC and neutrophils dropped to 1.9 and 0.9, and they have been steadily moving in that direction, so would guess that I'm right behind you on that, too.

Hi. My Dr. is reducing Interferon to 90 and told me to wait an extra 3 days before doing the injection. My WBC is down to 1.5

RBC is also low 9.6 this week. Up .3 from last week. Starting my second week of 600mg Riba.

Feeling pretty weak these days. Hopefully this will get things moving up.

1A, stage 2/3, TT, began TX with Incivo 1/31/12, Week 4 VL<15, week 7 UND, week 12 UND, week 18 UND!!! End of Tx July 31 VL UND!!!  I had to do 26 weeks total and was on half Riba and half Interferon for most of Tx. 12 week post Tx VL UND!
