I picked up my last batch of meds on June 5. I visit my specialist on June 25 and if the results of my last blood test are favorable / und , I will be done treatment that day ( 34 weeks instead of 48!) 2 more shots to go, I cant wait to rejoin the human race. party.gif

Geno 1a, VL 289,000 at start of Tx Nov 2/11. Und after 4 wks on Interferon, Ribavirin, and Victrelis, Finished Tx June 25/12. Still und. Virus back Sept 2012 VL over 1 million.

Started Harvoni Sept 22/16. VL 2 million. F score 2.

10/24/16:HCV UNDETECTABLE. Alt 21, Ast 21.

EOT: Dec 14/16  

SVR: May 2017

Just ordered my last shipment too! Feels so great to be on the home stretch! Last shot on7/6, last ribaviron on 7/13! Congrats sister!

Not to worry I will still be around--still have 4 weeks to go. Seems like the tx has saved the best for last! LOL!

The hands are better--just kind of stopped --it has been really strange. Now it is just constant headache--of course sitting through 2 days of a Texas lawyer talk about Special Education Law in a room full of principals and superintendents is a recipe for headache.

Hooray for the last box! I'm so happy for you! It has been a long journey. I'm glad we were able to share it. I just did my "halfway" shot last week....last box is a long time off for me, but I am inspired by you!

Just ordered my last shipment too- last injection will be August 3 and last Riba August 10! I'm super itchy and bumpy, even on palms of hands. Maybe because summer is here?

Yay Shep, last box..... very exciting. I think it's funny that whilst doing this treatment I actually look forward to the the next shot as it is another one down. Life generally seems to rush by too fast but during this chapter I am willing it to rush by faster, it is a shame really but there is reasonable rationale to it.

I'm counting for you- FOUR...............THREE...................TWO...............ONE, Blasting OFF and getting on with living whoo hoooo

genotype 1a. started pegasus and riba on 25/03/2012 added victrelis after 4 weeks, treatment naive. CHC. 4 weeks UND & continue to be so far. Finish tx 6/10/12. Fingers crossed for SVR.

1A, stage 2/3, TT, began TX with Incivo 1/31/12, Week 4 VL<15, week 7 UND, week 12 UND, week 18 UND!!! End of Tx July 31 VL UND!!!  I had to do 26 weeks total and was on half Riba and half Interferon for most of Tx. 12 week post Tx VL UND!

geno 1a, mother & brother also hep c +...mom got a blood transfusion and passed it along.  Started tx with incivik 11/23/11 and brother started 2/8/2012.  Both of us und. at 4,8,12 and me at 24.  I am going 36 wks and brother is going 48 weeks.

Thank-you guys! Can't wait for everyone to place their last order!!

Saw the PA--she is awesome--they were worried that uric acid had built up but it looks like something else--just major joint pain. I think my thyroid meds need another adjustment. Go for labs on Monday. But bless that woman--she found some topical meds to rub in that have eased my aching hands somewhat. If it gets worse--then have to go back & she was talking about maybe quitting early---have mixed feelings about.
Anyway.... she gave the medicine & did not charge me for the office visit. Then went to the grocery store & the produce guy gave me bananas for free. It been my lucky day!

Ah, Shep my friend. This is a great day. I will open my next-to-the-last box of pegasys and riba tomorrow, so eight more weeks to go. I am so happy for you, and I'm really not that far behind. And yes, what a trip it's been.
