Hi Steff. It looks like it is right. I used America/Grand_Turk EDT (-4). It will be curious if we have the same 'daylight savings'. Time sure has become an issue with this bloody virus. We have 3 alarm clocks on the go. ha, ha. Or I guess LOL (not a texter!)

Thanks a bunch.

Trudy

Thanks Cinnamon Girl. I am not sure if it is correct. I will see if it is right after this one. It is 11:40 EST here now.

Another question...can I remove a tag from the subject of a post I made?

Thanks again.

Hi Cinnamon Girl. Thanks for the welcome and our best goes out to you. So many stories and suggestions, encouragements and celebrations, friends perhaps marriages, information sharing, just downright a great place to come. Thank you for your time and compassion to this site.

Now as for this date issue. I have tried approx 20 changes from all countries and saved it and my time is always 3 hours out. When it says 7 pm it is 10 pm here. Unless I'm doing something really dumb (and lately that is quite possible!!!) I think maybe the drop down should include Canada separately, time changes and all.

smile

Just a thought, once you`ve selected a time zone that matches where you are in Canada, make sure you click on `Save Changes` at the bottom of that box so that it stays like that.

Not sure if that helps but thought I`d mention it.

Hi Hrsetrdr. I tried what you said and it stays the same which is 3 hrs behind. I'll keep plugging until I get it unless the Easter Standard Time in Canada is not on the list.

Thanks

EOG

Hi Cinnamon Girl.

Thanks for responding. I tried the Atikokan which indicated EST but it is still three hours behind our time. Anything else to try?

Thanks

EOG

Choose any setting from the dropdown window that is "-5".  For EDT choose "-4".

Edit:   see the link below for a screenshot of the settings downdown choice:

Hi and welcome to you EasternOntarioGirl. smile

Ok, to change to your own time zone, go to your `Profile` box and select `Settings`, and another box will open for you.

Scroll down and select `Time Zone` and click on the drop-down menu and a list of  time zones will pop up.  I think the one you`re looking for is America/Atitokan (EST).

Let me know if you need any more help with that.

~  Jill xx

ps- I`ve just been reading your story, wishing all the best to you and your husband.
