Hi Fajah, You're off to a great start with undet. at 4 and 8 weeks. If you make undet. at 24 weeks, your Rx duration may be reconsidered. You seem to be surviving well- may it continue!

Good for you, sir. This is about perfect for your situation. I have a good feeling about this one. I hope the Incivek is not beating you up too bad. It is a strong ally, but an obnoxious one. Keep up the good work and show your doctor how it can be done.

I am a previous null responder with level two sclerosis based on recent biopsy, I am 59 and have known about this since the mid 90s.

With the new incivek drug mix I went from 7m viral load to 34 in two weeks and undetectable at 4 weeks and again here at the 8 week lab.  I am in week 9 of tx and look forward to dropping the incivek soon, along with symptoms.

Had I not been a null responder I would be done in 24 wks however, since I am, I have to go the 46 wk route.  Had I been treatment naive, I would be in a rare data group that has 92% SVR, but because of my null responder status, my doc is saying better than 50% is all he will commit to.  He does agree my results make me an outlier from the data he has, so he is not sure how to classify me, he loves my labs but the previous null response puts me into another category.

Head down, left, right, left, right and hoping for a good result in the end.
