It looks like there could be some wiggle room when you start your meds. That's a good thing. Like I posted to 12step, it feels like my bod isn't fighting the meds so hard after just 6 weeks. (i.e. side effects dropping off).

Good luck!

I'm diggin the " wiggle room" wink MJ

When our tx was in the testing stage in trials, it was determined that most will attain SVR if they take their meds at least 80% of the time.  That 80% allows for some short breaks and med adjustments.

That's great, Judy.  I know you've had a tough time of it.  I hope things are much better for you now.

With any luck and God's will, my husband will be able to stop treatment next week at the 24 week mark.  He's still on reduced riba, but we're very hopeful.

Thanks Elizabeth... for sharing that wonderful news, very encouraging to me as I am sensitive to allot of medications out there and was wondering, when I start the therapy drugs, that one size does not fit all.. So it is nice to know even when modified there is hope... happy dance indeed  party.gif

That's great!! I had the impression you either toughed it out and stayed the course or missed out.

Thanks everyone!  He's at Week 20.  We're really hoping he can stop treatment at Week 24 but won't know until they do another viral load test at that time.

My husband had to stop incivek early and has been totally off riba several times as well as on reduced dosages at various times.  Because of this, we've been concerned about continuing to get UND results.  Today we got the results for Week 20 and he's still UND!  And liver enzymes are normal.

I'm just sharing this in case anyone else has had to modify their meds.  You can still be UND if your med schedule hasn't been exactly as originally prescribed.

Doing the happy dance here!

God Bless!
