Kiwi, this is outstanding! Another blue heeler? And only five days to wait? And only six more weeks of treatment? I better get the bagpipes dusted off. I plan to shoot off a big fireworks tube, and march back and forth across my front yard playing a lively tune, perhaps God Save the Queen, or Scotland the Brave, on the evening of your last pills. I will try to get Cathy to record it, but she is not real good at that stuff. Alan

You are probably right, LC. There is no point adding insult to the injury. For the most part we just get along. Misery loves company, particularly the friendly kind. And Shep, thanks for checking in. I hoped you would approve and be excited. Most of our class is graduating in the next couple of months, so we need to hang around for the Class of 2013 (don't worry, biggyb). PS. Four week post treatment labs came back. VL is UND, and all other measures are normal except WBC which is like two percent low. New numbers in the link under the signature. I am one happy young man (bumping 60 yrs).

Congrats Alan! This forum seems very kind, helpful, and polite compared to some I've been on so hopefully it's not a lot of work. Maybe because we are miserable enough having HCV and going through treatment without being mean to each other on top of it?

Alan,

Congratulations on your new job as moderator!    I don't really see any changes likely as a result, as you've really been lending  a helpful, guiding hand all along.   wootj.gif

What an honor to be invited into such a fine group, and be able to help out with a great project.

Phil, thank you sir. Now that the ribavirin rage has passed, I haven't snapped at anybody in at least a week. I still get a frog in my throat at the drop of a hat, particularly watching a chick flick, or when that English kid did that beautiful solo in the Olympics opening. But patience is returning quickly. Plus I am sick, too, don't forget.

Renee and Lindsay, my good buddies. Being tapped as moderator just ensures that I will be around to get all teary-eyed when each member of the Class of 2011-2012 finishes up. I got a message from Renee recently and will respond this evening. Just want you to know that many people all over the world wish they had what you two have.

This will be a nice, orderly transition into a new role, so hopefully nobody will njotice a thing.

Alan
