I missed about four months of work out of six months of treatment.  I've never asked what genotype.  All I know is the incivek worked, my VL was over a million a six months before treatment started.  It was zerio after a month.  My liver enzymes dropped back into normal range for the first time since the mid 90s ten days into treatment, which was taken as a very good sign.

Going overnight sailing this weekend, life is good!

Great Shaun!!!

I know how ya feel...I got my 6 month report back few days ago.

I had the insomnia thing too.  Lasted for about 5 months after Tx, but it has gone away.

I also know how you feel about the SVR, when some folks who tried so hard, couldn't achieve it.  I would certainly never gloat over my SVR, but instead I am VERY grateful.  But I think posting our success gives hope to others.  It is also comforting to know that for those who failed, there are other, probably better treatments just around the corner.

Enjoy your new virus-free life!

Brad

Such wonderful news, Shaun!  I absolutely love to hear about another one of us having achieved SVR.  This gives us all hope, so please don't feel guilty in the least.  SO glad you feel well, too!  I also get anxiety from time to time after tx; still on Ativan daily.  But gosh it feels great to be off those meds!

That's great news.  I can't wait for this riba fog? to lift.  Only been 3+ weeks but it seems to be getting better.  I love the weight lifting idea. I was on my bike yesterday and I proved that I am indeed, way out of shape.  Plenty of time to catch up though.

Keep us posted once in a while Shaun.  God bless you.

Fantastic Shaun! How do you feel? Are all sx gone?

I feel normal.  Vague residual anxiety pops up here and there, but not a big deal.  I also still have a touch of insomnia.  Both those side effects continue to lessen each month.  Physically, I feel completely normal.  Food tastes delicious and a full appetite to match.

Working out with weights helped a lot for regaining strength after finishing TX.  I am a happy camper today.

Shaun, this is great news. I understand your empathy for others, but it works both ways. It gives me hope that I will be making the same post in October 2013. I enjoy hearing about how those like you who have gone down this road are doing. And for those whose journey has taken a detour, I'm thinking that new routes will open up soon.
