Hi Caryn,

A drop in VL is always better than a rise. At least you were <1000- if not, that would have been the end of Rx. Cheers.

I spoke to my nurse and she said that I should not be discouraged. She said treatment length depends on several factors. I have an appt. in a few weeks and will discuss with the Dr. I take my next vl test in 3 weeks, so we will go from there I guess. She said that she has seen the vl drop largely, then slow down. Who knows.

I know you must be disappointed with this result, Caryn, but really that`s a huge drop from when you started tx and it`s looking very promising for an UND at your next vl test.  Try not to worry, you haven`t done anything wrong!  smile

Let us know what your doctor says.  ~ Jill

I have not talked to the dr, I get my results online. They get the results before me, so it is strange that no one called! I will be calling them today.

Okay, so I was at 6 million before treatment, 2 week labs show 810. Just got the results of the 4 week labs and it is showing 610. It only dropped 200!!!  I am sick!  I have been on inhalers and antibiotics for a while due to the bronchitis, other than that I have been taking my doses on time and have not skipped any dose or was even late. I am so confused!!!  And this SUCKS!!!
