They would not give me blood till my Hb hit 7.

1b, 3rd time around on treatment. Stage IV cirr. Undetectable at 8 weeks with Incviek. Been infected since the late 70s. 48wk treatment completed. Sustained undetectable.

Wow, Douglas, those are good numbers. Must be the 3 bags of blood. I'll be happy with those levels when I'm back to normal!biggrin

Avoid crowds and people with cold and flu for 3 weeks.

Geno 1b, IL28B CT,  x3 prior relapser,  ex-cirrhotic, 75 yo, did 48 weeks with Victrelis/Peg./Riba.  VL 1.28m at start, UNDET. at 8 ,12 ,16 ,24 ,30  and 48 weeks.  EOT 15 Feb 2013 , UNDET. at EOT + 28 weeks. SVR!  Still Undet. at EOT +5 years

Looking good. The WBC are getting a bit low, but I dropped to 1.7.

Next time include your platelets- these are worth watching.

You're lucky to be in the US. Over here there's no way you would get a transfusion with your previous Hb level of 8.4.

Levels improve rapidly after finishing Rx. I posted my EOT + 12 days results, and I'm happy to see all levels on the rise. Cheers.

Just wanted a couple of thoughts on my counts. WBC was the lowest this last week 2/25.

Have had 3 tranfusions over the last 2 months.

Week 48 will be March 20th, I have 2 shots left and of course the 'RIBA' @ full doses 1200 a day
